Kolpakova River Fishing

The period of carrying out is from June till October.

Kolpakova river springs from the central part of Kamchatka in the spurs of Sredinniy ridge (The Middle ridge) and flows into The Sea of Okhotsk. The river is incredibly beautiful and prolific in fish. The upper part is rich in rainbow trout and char (arctic salmon) and closer to the mouth depending of the season, the riveк is rich in king salmon, masu salmon, coho salmon and humpback salmon. Fishing can be carried out from the banks during the stops, and while rafting. Transfer to the river and back is possible only by helicopter. The duration of the tour varies from 6 to 10 days.

Minimal group makes up 6 persons, residence it tents for two.

The fishing tour is possible to supplement with Avacha bay sea-trip or one-day excursion to The Valley of Geysers.

Approximate itinerary:

1 day. Meeting at the airport of Elizovo town, transfer to a recreation base of Paratunka area, accommodation, bathing in thermal-water swimming-pool.

2 day. Helicopter transfer to the river, setting a camp, preparation for rafting.

3-7 day. Rafting and fishing, overnight in tents.

8 day. The end of rafting. Transfer to the recreation base.

9 day. City tour, a visit to the fish market, local souvenirs shop. Transfer to the airport.

The fare includes:

Transport during the tour.
Three meals daily.
Accommodation at the recreation base.
Hiring a basic gear and a motor boat.
Guide and chef service.
Licenses and insurance.

The fare doesn’t include:

Purchase of alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, souvenirs.
